Serkan Haki is a clarinetist, composer, and music producer. He began his musical journey by learning the piano, then discovered his true passion for the clarinet and started studying it. He pursued music studies and research at the Berklee College of Music in the United States and in Spain. He became known for his unique style that blends: Arabic music Jazz World music Serkan is recognized for his role in developing an academic methodology for teaching the clarinet within Arabic music. He is considered one of the leading contemporary clarinetists working to introduce the clarinet into the world of Eastern maqam in a structured academic way.
